Silence!

“𝓢𝓲𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮!”

Mic! Lights!! Action!!!

She was about to go out to the most exclusive and sought out stage.

She stepped out to the stage elegantly in the most beautiful blue dress that made her eyes shine.

The director cued her and then she looked into the audience, one gentleman was on his phone, another lady was filing her nails and two gentlemen were arguing in the back.

And for some reason

She paid no attention to the other 26 ladies and gentlemen sited and waiting for her to sing, already captured by her presence.

…And suddenly, she burst into tears turns around and runs backstage.

The director was stunned… He offered apologies to the audience and went after her.

After he could calm her down, he asked her… What is wrong? And her replied,

“They do not want me…they do not think am good enough… they are distracted doing other things”… Were they expecting someone else? Am I not the main act of the night?”

Hmmmmm

Are you Shocked? Confused? Yes!

But for some of us that is how we show up.

Seemingly ready to conquer the world, but when an insignificant thing happens that did not go your way. We begin to moan and at times throw in the towel.

Things do not need to always go your way or even as planned.

You do not need to capture the whole audience; you only need to always look for andĀ connect with those who ready to receive you.

There is an audience for everyone.

We just need to own our stage and sing like your life depends on it! or the lives of the audience depends on it.

Because sometimes it just might!
